How we collect, use, store and protect personal information — in plain English. This policy is written to meet our obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles and the NDIS Code of Conduct.

What we collect
Information you give us directly when you enquire, refer, apply, or become a participant — including your name, contact details, funding arrangements, health and support information, and anything else you choose to share. We also collect basic technical information when you visit this website (browser type, approximate location, referring page) via privacy-friendly analytics.
How we use it
To deliver and coordinate the support you've asked for, communicate with you and anyone you've nominated, meet our obligations as a registered NDIS and aged care provider, and improve how we work. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Who sees it
Your support team, the people coordinating your care, and — where required — regulators such as the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission or the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. We use a small number of trusted software providers (rostering, accounting, analytics) who handle information under contract and in line with Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
We keep records for as long as we're required to under NDIS, aged care, and Australian privacy law — typically seven years after our last engagement with you. After that, we securely destroy or de-identify it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or make a privacy complaint. Email hello@lyftcommunity.com.au or call 0418 828 518 and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
